On a morning like any other, I woke up and decided to change my lifestyle. I started an exercise routine and began eating healthily.
I began researching foods that I could add to my daily diet, and one that I learned about was fruit yogurt.
I chose to make pineapple yogurt because of its extensive nutritional value. As I began to understand the properties of both of these ingredients, I decided to mix them together.
Adding it to my diet has been very advantageous, which is why I wanted to share this simple recipe that can be made at home, so that others can enjoy its benefits.
Before sharing the recipe, I wanted to mention some of the properties of not only pineapple yogurt, but of yogurt in general.
It’s important to include yogurt in a varied and balanced diet.
100 grams of yogurt contain 180 milligrams of calcium, 240 milligrams of potassium, 17 milligrams of magnesium, and B-group vitamins.
Although it may be surprising, yogurt is one of the foods richest in protein, calcium, vitamin D, phosphorous, and B complex vitamins. It’s truly wonderful.
The living microorganisms in yogurt positively influence intestinal flora and boost the immune system.
Easy to digest
The lactose in yogurt has been pre-digested, which makes it easier for people to digest especially in comparison to milk.
Many people who are lactose intolerant find yogurt to be easier on their stomachs. This is because the lactose in yogurt has been turned into lactic acid, and because its protein has been pre-digested during the fermentation process which makes it easier for the body to assimilate.
Beneficial for women’s vaginal flora
Because of the live bacteria in yogurt that strengthens the immune system, it is an ideal food to promote healthy vaginal flora, which in turn prevents fungal infections.
Yogurt is rich in good bacteria, which makes it a unique food that can combat recurring yeast infections.
With the nutritional benefits of yogurt in mind, here I will share the pineapple yogurt recipe. It’s delicious and easy to prepare.
